Grateful Gear

Hi, we’re finally here.

We are Grateful Gear, a mobile secondhand clothing shop built around one simple belief: every child deserves to explore the outdoors, no matter the budget.

We partner with local brands, Forest Schools and families to give high-quality, pre-loved children’s outdoor clothing a second life. That means warm layers, waterproofs, and sturdy gear that can handle snow, mud, sun, etc. without families having to face the anxiety-inducing price tags that comes along with them.

As moms and owners of a Forest School ourselves, we know that outdoor play is powerful. It builds confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love for nature. We also know that kids grow fast, and outdoor gear is expensive. That’s why Grateful Gear was born! We’re here to bridge that gap — making sustainable, practical clothing accessible so families can focus on the adventure, not the cost.

By choosing pre-loved, you’re also supporting local businesses, building and strengthening community, reducing waste, and keeping perfectly good clothing out of landfill. It’s a win for kids, parents, and the planet.

We can’t wait to grow this with you — muddy boots, warm layers, and all.

Thanks for being part of the journey!
